Transkript<\/span><\/i>, a non-profit organisation <\/span>based in Asse in Flemish Brabant<\/span>, helps blind, partially sighted, dyslexic and multiple sclerosis sufferers who have difficulty reading.<\/span><\/p>\n

Thanks to support from UFB, the ASBL has been able to purchase new office chairs and height-adjustable reading tables to ensure the comfort of the volunteers who record the audio books offered to beneficiaries.<\/span><\/p>\n

Transkript’s mission: to make reading accessible to all <\/b><\/h2>\n

Transkript <\/span><\/i>ASBL <\/span>aims to help people with disabilities by offering them books and magazines in different formats: audio, braille or large print.<\/span><\/p>\n

New equipment for quality recordings<\/b><\/h2>\n

\"\"The old chairs and desks, bought second-hand, were no longer in a condition to be used to guarantee volunteers optimal conditions for recording audio books.<\/span><\/p>\n

The purchase of new office equipment was financed to provide a comfortable, high-quality working environment for both volunteers and beneficiaries.<\/span><\/p>\n

This funding of \u20ac6,500 will enable the ASBL to continue to offer reading formats tailored to the varied needs of its beneficiaries, ensuring access to reading for all.<\/span><\/p>\n
