The ASBL<\/span> Le Toboggan<\/span><\/i>, located in<\/span> Mons in the Hainaut<\/span> region, provides accommodation and support for young girls in serious difficulty at every stage of their daily lives.<\/span><\/p>\n

Thanks to UFB’s support, they have been able to buy a new minibus to transport their beneficiaries to medical appointments and school.<\/span><\/p>\n

Le Toboggan: adapted accommodation for personalised support <\/b><\/h2>\n

The aim of Le Toboggan<\/span><\/i> ASBL <\/span>is to support young girls in difficulty in their development.<\/span><\/p>\n

With values centred on inclusion, respect for others and living together, the ASBL currently supports 15 beneficiaries.<\/span><\/p>\n

It offers accommodation based on group living, with indoor and outdoor kots. <\/span><\/p>\n

It also ensures that family reintegration takes place under the best possible conditions by organising meetings between the beneficiary and members of her family<\/span><\/p>\n

An educator is present at each meeting to facilitate dialogue and ensure appropriate support. <\/span><\/p>\n

The team of educators is also available to assist beneficiaries with administrative and medical procedures.<\/span><\/p>\n

A new minibus to accompany beneficiaries every day<\/b><\/h2>\n

The old vehicle had already made many journeys to drop off beneficiaries, totalling almost 230,000 km. <\/span><\/p>\n

This was creating a risk of breakdowns, causing delays in accompanying beneficiaries and increasingly high maintenance costs.<\/span><\/p>\n

The purchase of a new minibus was therefore financed to ensure a safe, high-quality service for the people the ASBL cares for every day.<\/span><\/p>\n

This funding of \u20ac12,500 has ensured continuity of service for the 15 beneficiaries by guaranteeing safe journeys, particularly for medical appointments and school trips.<\/span><\/p>\n
