{"id":54645,"date":"2025-05-26T14:53:10","date_gmt":"2025-05-26T13:53:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ufb.be\/?post_type=beneficiary&#038;p=54645"},"modified":"2025-05-26T15:19:26","modified_gmt":"2025-05-26T14:19:26","slug":"la-source-vive","status":"publish","type":"beneficiary","link":"https:\/\/ufb.be\/en\/beneficiary\/la-source-vive\/","title":{"rendered":"La Source Vie: a new minibus for transporting children"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">La Source Vive<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> centre, located in Lasne, provides accommodation and care for children aged between 3 and 13 suffering from psychological disorders.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Thanks to UFB\u2019s support, they were able to buy a new minibus that allows them to transport the children to their school.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2>La Source Vive: a specialised boarding school for tailor-made support<\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Founded in 1950, the La <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Source Vive<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> centre houses children with behavioural disorders (neurotic, pre-psychotic) and offers them psycho-medical-educational support.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Four multidisciplinary teams (educators, psychologists, social workers, speech therapists) work together hand in hand to ensure individualised follow-up for each child.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The centre offers accommodation, transport between the boarding school and the school, psychomotor workshops and a sensory area where children are immersed in a relaxing environment of light and sound.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">With values focused on support, teamwork and autonomy, the centre cares for 44 children aged between 3 and 13.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2>A minibus for safer and better organised transport<\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The centre itself takes care of the logistics and accompanies the children to school, using three small vans, which presented organisational difficulties and constraints.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Acquiring a new van was essential to continue provide better transport conditions for children.
