L\u2019ASBL <\/span>Maison de Quartier Chamb\u00e9ry <\/span><\/i>situ\u00e9e dans la commune d’Etterbeek \u00e0 Bruxelles est un lieu d\u2019\u00e9changes o\u00f9 se rencontrent des habitants de diff\u00e9rentes cultures et toutes g\u00e9n\u00e9rations confondues.<\/span><\/p>\n

Thanks to UFB’s support, the ASBL has been able to purchase a minibus to transport local residents who are unable to get to the ASBL’s social restaurant due to health or mobility problems.<\/span><\/p>\n

An ASBL that fosters the creation of social ties <\/b><\/h2>\n

THE ASBL<\/span> Maison de Quartier Chamb\u00e9ry<\/span><\/i><\/a> aims to <\/span>to promote contact between the various residents of the neighborhood and improve their living conditions by offering them a range of services.<\/span><\/p>\n

In particular, the ASBL offers a restaurant where residents can come for lunch and meet other local people. Social rates are available for Etterbeek residents. <\/span><\/p>\n

With values centered on mutual aid, social inclusion and sustainability, the ASBL now offers its services to 500 people.<\/span><\/p>\n

The CHATO-D\u00e9panne service, in partnership with the Etterbeek CPAS, carries out minor repairs for low-income residents and the elderly. <\/span><\/p>\n

The renovation team paints and plasters apartments and stairwells for social rental agencies, housing associations and non-profit organizations, with a preference for environmentally-friendly products.<\/span><\/p>\n

Purchase of a minibus to facilitate access to our services <\/b><\/h2>\n

Some of the ASBL’s beneficiaries have mobility problems and are unable to travel to the social restaurant to share convivial moments. <\/span><\/p>\n

The purchase of a vehicle was therefore necessary to enable everyone to take part in the association’s activities.<\/span><\/p>\n

This funding of 12,500 euros enables the ASBL team to deliver meals to people who are unable to move about for health reasons. <\/span><\/p>\n

The minibus also provides a shuttle service for people with mobility problems so that they can enjoy meals at the social restaurant.<\/span><\/p>\n
