This concert marks the opening of the special UFB « Golden Year »
celebrating our 50 years of supporting social integration in Belgium.

and Ana-Camelia Stefanescu, soprano and 2nd prize of Queen Elisabeth competition

They will be conducted by Zeno Popescu (choirmaster) and accompanied by Noemi Biro (piano).
What is the project « Chorales Equinox »?
Founded in 2012 under the guidance of a great pianist Maria Joao Pires, the non-profit organisation Chorales Equinox is dedicated to promote musical practice in less advantaged socio-economic environment.
The Equinox Choirs welcome children aged 6 to 16 years old ho are underprivileged or have a disability. The Brussels Choir is mainly composed of children from the Maison d’enfants Reine Marie-Henriette (children placed by the judge and the Athénée Royal Victor Horta, a multicultural basic school.
It is the question of promoting art, culture, solidarity and simply, equality thus supporting their social integration mission.
The following event will be a 35-minute Zoom private concert that you can enjoy by seating comfortably in your chair.
The beautiful duo mentioned above, Julie Gebhart, a great soprano, accompanied by a charming piano, Pablo Matias Becerra, will make your hearts melt from joy.

This event is organised to help artists continue their mastership and also raise funds for United Fund to be able to pursue our mission.
There is no registration fee. However , any financial contribution is welcome and you are free to decide on the amount you may want to donate. For this, please click on the button ‘I make donation’ to do so.
50% of the amount gathered during the event will be given to both artists.
As you know, all donations from 40 EUR are tax deductible.
