A minibus to broaden their horizons
The General Residential Service “Sainte Adeline la Frênaie” welcomes 17 children aged 3 to 9, removed from their family environment following situations of neglect or abuse.
Located in Liège, the association offers a secure and structured living environment, essential to enable these young people to rebuild themselves.
Faced with the evolving profile of the children and the importance of outdoor activities, the funding of a minibus by United Fund for Belgium has been a real turning point.
Until now, travel was limited due to the lack of a suitable vehicle. The minibus now makes it possible to ensure trips to school, therapeutic centers, as well as sports, cultural or recreational outings, offering children moments of escape essential to their well-being.
The acquisition of our minibus allows us to offer children greater ease in getting to school and activities, but also to experience moments of escape from their daily routine.
