Mobil’Air, a new vehicle to promote the inclusion of young people

Thanks to UFB’s support, the association La Teignouse, created in 1982 and located in Aywaille in the province of Liège, was able to launch Mobil’Air: a converted van that goes out to meet young people where they live.

This project meets the growing need of these young people to forge links and build projects. The van’s space offers a place for exchange and collaboration with partners such as family planning, AMO and youth centres.

Personalised support, tailored to the need

Active in 11 municipalities in the Ourthe-Amblève-Condroz region, La Teignouse aims at supporting young people in vulnerable situations.

It offers tailor-needed support by pooling local resources, as well as through individual, collective, and community social work approaches.

Based on values such as hospitality, respect and confidentiality, the asbl values the potential of each person, regardless of their social, family or cultural context.

Mobil’Air, a key tool for connecting and fostering inclusion

CWith this in mind, the association makes it a point of honour to support young people from different backgrounds. To achieve this mission, it was essential to have a vehicle that can be used to meet them.

Thanks to a funding of EUR 12,500, the Mobil’Air van was acquired, offering young people a space to listen, discuss and build projects.

Your support: a driving force for new projects

Thanks to UFB’s donors, La Teignouse can strengthen its presence among isolated young people and reach out to them more easily.

With your support, we can continue to help ASBLs like La Teignouse contribute to the emancipation of young people.
