Help finance a food truck to raise awareness among young people about sustainable and healthy nutrition

In Molenbeek, the charity Bien ou Bien is dedicated to supporting young people in difficulty coming from disadvantaged backgrounds. Their mission? Help them build their future by providing opportunities to express themselves through enriching extracurricular activities. The organisation strongly believes that each young person has immense potential, but to unlock it, they need the right tools and space to thrive.

In addition to its project for funding audiovisual materials and creating a digital space, Bien ou Bien wishes to launch a food truck with a social mission. This dynamic project aims to raise awareness among young people living in disadvantaged neighborhoods about the importance of sustainable and healthy nutrition.

A food truck with a social mission

Social fragility is often linked to poor lifestyle habits and unbalanced nutrition, which further degrade the quality of life and personal development.

This food truck project will organise regular tours through different neighbourhoods in Brussels, reaching a wide range of young people, including those from the most vulnerable areas. The goal is to engage over 1,000 young people by providing them with healthy and balanced meals. Additionally, workshops will be organised to teach them the basics of nutrition and cooking.

This project does not merely provide a one-time service/ is not limited to the distribution of meals; it acts as a catalyst to encourage a lasting change in eating habits and lifestyles of the young people.

The amount to finance: 60.000€/over 3 years

Your support is essential

This innovative, community-focused project requires significant funding.

  • We invite you to support this initiative that will teach young people the basics of healthy nutrition and make them aware of the issues linked to the sustainability of our daily consumption.

Our environmental footprint is closely linked to our lifestyle/eating habits. It is therefore essential to take the time to raise awareness about healthy and environmentally friendly eating practices, especially among young people from vulnerable backgrounds.
