Event recap : How AI can help us create a more inclusive society

On March 18, 2025, United Fund for Belgium hosted a conference entitled How AI can help us create a more inclusive society, in partnership with Degroof Petercam.
This thought-provoking event focused on the role of AI in fostering social inclusion and brought together thought leaders, entrepreneurs, experts, and philanthropists to explore how AI can drive meaningful change and reshape society for future generations.
From keynote speeches to engaging panel discussions, our speakers shed light on AI’s potential to break down barriers, create new opportunities, and support marginalized communities. However, the discussions also underscored the responsibility we all share in ensuring AI promotes fairness, combats bias, and expands rather than restricts inclusion.
Thank you to our speakers for their invaluable insights and to Degroof Petercam for hosting the evening.
