ASBL Zone-Art helps mentally handicapped teenagers and adults to develop through artistic creation.
Thanks to UFB’s support, they have been able to purchase new equipment, including tablets, printers and scanners, to enable the beneficiaries to work independently.
Zone-Art: a space for expression and creativity
ASBL Zone-Art offers artistic creation workshops for people with mental disabilities.
With values based on inclusion, personal expression and the development of talents, the association currently has 60 beneficiaries.
The workshops are run by professional facilitators and volunteers.
The artworks are then showcased to enable each participant to develop their own artistic identity.
New equipment for greater autonomy
The Zone-Art ASBL aims to develop the autonomy of its beneficiaries in their artistic productions. It therefore planned to modernise and further develop its workshops.
The purchase of tablets and printer-scanners was financed in order to offer quality equipment to all the beneficiaries.
“The positive impact on the participants in our workshops is manifold. The purchase of the digital tablets, for example, has empowered the participants during the research carried out as part of the activities” Head of the ASBL.
This funding of €7,000 has helped us to provide a creative environment that is tailored to our needs.
