Bread made with love
Thanks to many donors, we provided the charity Artos with 10.000€ to help purchase solar panels. These will be used for the bakery employing beneficiaries with disabilities produce bread.
The young Artos association opened its doors in 2018 and currently welcomes 25 adults with disabilities who have the wonderful opportunity to acquire new skills at the bakery.
They participate in bread-making by carrying out simple tasks that meet their abilities.
It’s all about improving the lives of people with disabilities
Artos is a part of the project which started in 1976. The first project was called ‘La Passerelle’ and was aimed primarily at providing care for children with disabilities.
The project soon expanded to welcome adults as well. Today, their accommodation site consists of three flats and three houses to meet growing demand and provide a more enjoyable experience for people with disabilities.
