We are delighted to announce the election of Philippe Vander Putten as Chairman of our Board of Directors.
He replaces Dirk Luyten, who previously held the position. All the members of the Board would like to thank him for his 6 years as Chairman. His commitment has been essential to the continued success of the organisation.
Philippe Vander Putten comes with extensive business and leadership experience. He was formerly CEO of Proximus and Brussels Airlines, and also held the position of CEO of the Belgian Olympic & Interfederal Committee (COIB). His strategic vision and commitment make him an excellent choice to guide our association in its mission.
As Chairman of the Board of Directors, Philippe Vander Putten will supervise the association’s activities, working closely with the Board Members, CEO Catherine Tricot and all UFB’s partners.
His expertise will contribute to strengthening the organisation’s positive impact on Belgian society through partnerships with corporate donors as part of their ESG strategy.
“I am honoured to join United Fund for Belgium as Chairman of the Board,” said Philippe Vander Putten. “Together, we will continue to support tangible social projects fostering social inclusion and improving the lives of people in need.”
