A vehicle for Aura vzw for effective school and work guidance for youngsters

Located in West Flanders, Aura is an organisation dedicated to supporting children and young adults of different ages in their educational and professional development.

Aura’s aim is to enable these young people to find themselves, fit in effectively with their educational and professional environment, and adapt to society. Thanks to a wide range of programmes, Aura offers personalised support in different learning and working contexts.

Drive better to help better!

Aura was recently able to purchase a new vehicle thanks to the support of our organisation. Your generosity has enabled us to support them with €10,000.

This vehicle will be used to travel to schools and training centres, replacing the old one which no longer met the required ecological standards. This investment in an environmentally-friendly vehicle demonstrates Aura’s commitment to sustainability and innovation.

A positive approach to inspire young people

Aura’s philosophy is based on a fundamental belief: students are not the problem, they hold the solutions. This positive and empowering approach turns challenges into opportunities by focusing on young people’s unique abilities and resources. Aura is committed to creating an environment where every young person can flourish and develop to their full potential.

The program ‘Aura XS’ for the little ones

This programme aims to help young children and reduce the growing rate of exclusion in primary schools.

The NAFT Programme: support and motivate students

Among Aura’s innovative programmes, the NAFT programme stands out for its global and inclusive approach. Designed to support young people in secondary education, the programme is also aimed at class groups, teachers and headteachers. NAFT has a number of aims:

  • Creating and maintaining links: To foster meaningful connections between students, their teachers, and working professionals.
  • Restoring relationships: Intervening to re-establish positive relationships where they may have deteriorated.
  • Implementing preventive measures: Proposing strategies to prevent potential problems and make the learning process more enjoyable and motivating.

Other programmes include the WINN project and the IBAL programmes designed to help young workers or part-time students.

A holistic approach to fulfilling learning

Aura doesn’t just intervene on an ad hoc basis; it accompanies young people throughout their journey, considering their individual needs and the specific contexts in which they evolve. This holistic approach helps to create the right conditions for fulfilling learning and successful integration into the world of work.

Charities such as Aura play a crucial role in supporting and accompanying young people into learning and work. Through its educational programmes and commitment to young people, Aura is strengthening its lasting impact on the Belgian community.
