Play4Peace: golf clubs to promote the personal and professional development of young people

Play4Peace aims to promote the inclusion of young people aged between 14 and 28 from disadvantaged backgrounds, by supporting them in their personal and professional development.

Thanks to UFB’s support, they were able to purchase several golf clubs, allowing young people to practice a sport that teaches patience, strategy and emotional management, which are essential qualities in everyday life.

Play4Peace: support through sport, training and inclusion

Created in 2015, the asbl Play4Peace works towards the social inclusion of young people by offering them various sports activities, including golf.
Its values are focused on inclusion, ensuring that every young person has the same opportunities to succeed. By overcoming social and cultural barriers, it places equal opportunities at the heart of its mission and supports the personal development of young people through sport, education and mentoring.

Today, the asbl supports more than 1,000 young people with free activities (golf, football, bowling) to boost their confidence and stress management.
It also provides training through conferences, workshops and individual coaching, and plays a mentoring role by connecting young people with professionals to expand their employment opportunities.

Golf clubs: essential equipment for the activities offered to young people

The asbl Play4Peace offers golf sessions to foster the personal development of young people, teaching them essential qualities such as patience, emotional management and strategic decision-making.

With this in mind, the acquisition of quality golf clubs has proven to be essential to ensure the continuity of this activity.

Today, 86% of young beneficiaries practice a sports activity thanks to Play4Peace. This funding of EUR 6,000 allows the asbl to continue its actions and offer valuable opportunities for their development

Your support: a lever to continue to offer opportunities to young people

‘We warmly thank United Funds for Belgium and its donors for their trust and valuable support for our project: the purchase of golf clubs and hoodies.’

– Ayman Ramdani, Responsible for the asbl

With your help, we can continue to support ABLs such as Play4Peace in their mission to offer young people from disadvantaged backgrounds opportunities for personal and professional development.
